Hi friends,
I visited the super amazing and enormously beautiful Pitti Palace today!
Today is the first sunday of December
Every first sunday of the month here in Italy, we have free museum visits, which means no charge for the tickets, free entry for all
So I took this opportunity and went to the Pitti Palace today
And before I start with anything, I want to say that, it's heaven on earth
I was very much mesmerised by it's beauty, and the palace is so huge and grand, no words can describe
You can see how big it is from the outside but when you get inside it's triple times huge, and totally amazing at each and every corner
You will find beauty and the grandness of the dukes in every corner of the facade
This one big palace with a large garden area has 5 museums in all
Wikipedia always knows everything
So check the links
Pitti Palace
Boboli Gardens
When you go there, imagine yourself in the times of when the king used to live there
You can see all of the rooms with beautiful paintings, sculptures and chandeliers!
Also, while visiting the museums don't forget to look up!
The ceilings always have the beautiful artwork
and mind you, if you are planning to visit the palace, I must add that go as early as possible because you may find it difficult to cover all of the place in a single day
Also, I recommend to take some snacks along with you
Though they do have a cafeteria inside, but it is the only eating place there
And it's not a restaurant, just a cafeteria, so better take something to eat in the middle of the day
I would also recommend to go through the map of the place before visiting, because there are a lot of places to go to in the palace so plan accordingly!
In the end all I can say is, it was total zen for me
The boboli garden is the best garden I have ever visited until now
I found solace there
So amazing
I can't get over the beauty of the place
I would definitely want to go there once again
I'm also adding a few pictures taken by me from the trip
If you are in florence or if you plan to visit anytime soon, make sure to not miss on this grand palace from your check list
Have a good day! :)
